Swarm and Fuzzy

Don't let the title fool you: the zerg are an unyielding race. Diverse in population and united in resolve, if unchallenged they stand to annihilate all free will throughout the Koprulu sector with the power of their merciless Swarm.
Obedience or oblivion. That is why we fight.
Every good Swarm starts somewhere, though. Before the zerg can unleash the ravenous masses for which they are known, they must first accumulate resources, augment terrain, and build up suitable structures that can support a thriving populace -- all of which require careful planning and precision timing.
Similar to terran strategies, this sort of undertaking often begins with the proper build order. So, as zerg:
What build orders do you use when playing against terran?
What build orders do you use when facing protoss?
What about when matched up against fellow zerg?
If you're new to playing zerg and want to get a head start on common build orders, be sure to check out Nicholas's Beginner's Guide.

very, very clear.......
if you are going to have a chance at the zerg,
you seriously need to have speed and control.
The zerg have a diverse building system that requires you to always be doing something with every unit, be it larvae, queens, overlords, etc.
If you wait for more larvae, you will die.
You must be using them to your advantage.
Also, roaches are an ideal ambush unit, when burrowed they can sneak beneath an enemy base. Early game, when your opponent does not have detectors, is an ideal time to inflict some damage, without heavy unit loss
Scout early to check for cheeze ect, unless somethings off its 9 ova 14 pool / 2 extractors, drones till pool pops immediate 2 spine crawlers then lair (skip queen). Drones till lair pops as well as 1-2 more spines. Line up over lords as they build to get a line to your choke and as soon as lair pops generate creep and move crawlers to block off your choke (put a few lings in-between vs zerg to prevent runthrough). As soon as lair pops you also want to research burrow and build infestation pit. After burrow finished get teh queen. And you should have enough gas for 3 infestors as soon as pit pops. Get 1-3 more depending and banelings if they are completely walled. Burrowed infestors drop 15 - >25 infested marines in mineral line in <10 - 12 minutes (guaranteed command center kill if pulled off right). If no gg ez to transition to whatever you want.

against zerg, 10 overpool in anticipation of earlier cheese tactics.
against terran, RUN AWAY! THE TERRANS ARE HERE!

Hydralisks are expensive. Mutalisks are weak. Ultralisks are outgunned on the ground, best set to taking out an outpost and then turning tail.
Brood Lords. In Starcraft 1 I prayed for a unit like this. Brood Lords wreak havoc on the ground, turning your opponent's safe haven into a hellhole. None of the most powerful ground units can attack the Brood Lord, and should they kill a Broodling another one will replace it.
Broodlings are small, fast, temporary, and free. They are the definition of an expendable unit. Even the Zerglings, on 2-for-50 special, leave a hole in your forces when they go. Not so the Broodling.
Broodlings go where no other unit goes. In a Photon Cannon wall, they skitter between the cannons and surround the Pylon. The entire battery drops in seconds. Then they move on to the next target. Their maneuverability and small size makes them the ultimate swarming unit - there simply is no defense.
Except air. Terran forces may rule the ground, but no Terran can resist pumping resources into their Battlecruisers. Protoss air force is without a doubt the most powerful in the game. So how can the Brood Lord account for these when it can't even attack air?
The Corruptor is the most underrated unit in the game. It deals heavy damage to air, and massive damage to Massives. Have a swarm of these off in the wings, and when the Terran or Protoss air force comes into view, intercept them. Battlecruisers fall within seconds. Carriers take a little longer, but not much. Vikings can't match Corruptors, and neither can Void Rays. With Brood Lords ripping up the ground and Corruptors guarding the air-counter, you should have no problem punishing any Protoss or Terran you encounter. For the Swarm!
Mine until 8 drones.
Get Spawn pool
Make Drone.
Make Overlord.
Get 6 lings send them to where you think they are.
Get queen.
Build 2 Extractors and get gas.
Usually against Toss or Zerg the lings will throw them off guard for a bit and kill a bunch of workers.
Spam Larva and get Lair. Get Spire. Get 6 Mutas send them at workers.
PROFIT!!!!!!

- Drone to 10
- Build extractor, build drone, cancel extracor and put drone back on minerals
- Overlord
- 3 drones
- spawning pool, extractor as soon as you have enough minerals
- drone to 17
- build roach warren, then queen
- overlord, roachs
- spam larvae on hatchery, build roaches overlord
- continue that, build lair when you can
Against zerg i usually mass speedlings, this seems to work well but i dont play against alot of zerg so i dont have a good strat against them,
against toss i found fast speedlings are usually best if they failed to get cannons, and if those dont work i usually get hydras from there. Main problem with my builds is it always leaves me weak against a rush, rine rush, and zlot rush kill me or hurt my economy bad enough that they already won.
Drone, Drone, wait for spawn pool money, when pool is building, drone Overlord Drone, then queen, drone drone drone drone drone, extractor and the rest is well you know... I go for mutahs and it works unless they zealot rush cause I build a the land attack thing, some zerglins. I won 6/8 games with this strat. When facing other fellow zerg, I make sure I have an early good defense, then cream em. Protoss are the easiest to rush, and it is important to take advantage of this so they dont rush so quickly.
One great thing to do with the zerg is create bunches of roaches as soon as possible. First I would make a Spawning Pool, no extra drones until the spawning pool is started, then 3 drones, a queen, then a Roach Warren and Extractor when I am able. Depending on how you roll you may want to boost your economy and get few more drones, overlords, and start evolving a Lair for burrowing. I usually get troops first and upgrades afterwards. From that point I am usually 4 to 7 minutes into the game and head over to harass and destroy my opponent(s).
Another strategy I am quite fond of is the overwhelming zergling rush. I have tried the drones, queen and overlord order and it works well but you may not have a sizable army as quick as you may like, or possibly sooner than expected. One other strategy is to create no drones, get a spawning pool, a queen, overlord, and zerglings. < period I saw my enemy use this against me and reviewed the match and was astounded at how fast zerglings began spewing out of his hatchery and into my base.
Hope you have gained new ideas! Good luck, have fun, see you in the thick of battle!
10 OL 13 Gas 12 Spawn Put workers on gas as soon as its done and get the speed upgrade as soon as spawn is done if you did it correctly. wait for 50 more gas and build bane while making lings and queen whenever you have time. scout and if you see mass zlots put up the magic crawler/s
