On June 8, Major League Gaming (MLG) began its Spring Championship event in Anaheim, California. This isn’t only be one of MLG’s largest competitions to date, but it promises to be one of the most incredible eSports events of the year!

Featuring both the explosive StarCraft II World Championship Series (WCS) USA Finals and the conclusion of the MLG Spring season with the MLG Pro Circuit StarCraft II Spring Championship, attendees and stream viewers will experience some of the year’s most exciting StarCraft II action. But that’s not all. This event will feature a very special showmatch tournament between eight Brood War legends – KeSPA players, playing StarCraft II on Western soil for the first time. Also, those who attend the MLG Spring Championship in person will have a chance to play StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm first hand at the event.

Live streams of the competitions began at 5:00 p.m. PDT, June 8 and runs the whole weekend through June 10!
 

Heart of the Swarm at MLG
Attendees will have the opportunity to sit down with the latest version of StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm at this MLG event. This unique opportunity will give players a chance to see the latest units and game changes in brutal StarCraft II competition with fellow attendees.

World Championship Series - USA Finals
The Battle.net World Championship, which will take place later this year, will be the culmination of more than 30 eSports events run by Blizzard Entertainment together with tournament organizers. These events are collectively known as the StarCraft II World Championship Series.

The USA Nationals features players have already proven their worth via online qualifiers, tournaments, and the ladder. Now they’ll battle for the honor of representing the USA at the North American Finals at the MLG Spring Championship, and you can  watch the action live for free.

The MLG Spring Season consisted of a number of qualifier tournaments and two Arenas, all of which lead up to this: the Spring Championship. The Championship Pool for the tournament will be composed of the top finishers from the previous MLG Spring events:

In addition, the MLG Spring Championship will host a historic event – one that’s both unusual and extremely exciting:  an exposition tournament between some of the most famous Brood War gosus of all time:
