StarCraft II Custom Map Contest Ends Soon

We just wanted to remind you that the first ever StarCraft II Custom Map Contest will be drawing to a close on September 11, 2010. If you're hoping for a chance to have your map featured at BlizzCon, win a trip to the convention, and score a cool $5,000 in the process, then put the finishing touches on your map and submit it before the deadline.

@infernal: It comes with the game just run a search for "Starcraft II map editor" on your computer and it should show up or look in C:\Program Files\StarCraft II and there should be a program called Starcraft 2 map editor

and by that i mean u choose medivac or blackhawk for each 1 u make kind of like how they used to have the battlecruisers rockets or yamato

Well this is the is the only place that has something to do w/ custom maps, so i think blizzard should add a upgrade to the medivac that turns into a blackhawk helicopter unit.With no healing powers but the ability to attack (maybe on the move to)

I love fastest possible map, and I'm trying to learn how to play regularly, but I'm scared that when I download and play it, it will count as a hack or cheat of some sort, especially with the new patch: "As soon as the new patch is released, everyone who has used some sort of hack or cheat will get banned forever" --TheXploder

@KilahALIG: I dont think using those maps are an issue. i think its mostly for ranked play and any non blizz map isnt ranked so i dont see how it would be an issue.
