Heart of the Swarm Beta Access Expanded

To prepare for the impending launch of StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm, we’re now expanding the ongoing beta test to include additional players. Any players who pre-purchased the expansion digitally on Battle.net on or before December 18 are now flagged for beta access. Additionally, players who digitally pre-order after December 18 will be added to the beta in waves on an approximately weekly basis. The beta client can be downloaded here. Please keep in mind that although anyone can download this client, only players who have obtained beta access will be able to log in.

Select retailers such as Amazon are also offering promotional beta key codes for players who pre-order Heart of the Swarm at retail. Be sure to check terms and availability with the retailer. More details on the Heart of the Swarm launch activities will be announced in the coming weeks and months. Until then, we hope to see you in the beta test and hear your feedback!

Update - December 21, 2012 - 5:00 p.m. PST: All players who pre-purchased the expansion digitally on Battle.net on December 19 & 20 are now also flagged for beta access.

I can confirm that if you pre-ordered on battle.net, you are in the beta no matter what. I pre-ordererd on saturday, have no indication I'm in the beta on my account, and have played.

@Preventor: They dont give you a beta key they just activate your account and you can play HOTS by downloading these

If you buy the digital pre-order, you'll be able to play the beta even if you haven't any beta key or something related to 'beta access' in your battle.net account. Just try it!

Blizzard are activating the beta accounts in waves, once a week sometimes once every 2 weeks.
They do not send an email the beta just one day becomes accessible. BUT if you got it from an outside company like amazon then I am not sure if you get an email or how that works.

So i got the game online and I understand the hole weekly basis thing but its been a week and when I go to my account summary it says ACCOUNT NAME

but I cant play the game and it tells me that I haven bought it yet, can anyone help?

@Zheirt: The Developers will flag you're name. When they send out the next wave of beta codes you can enter the beta code into you're blizzard account and then you will be able to play HoTs
