Last week, the Electronic Sports League kicked off WCS Europe 2013 Season 1 with five action-packed days of Premier League Qualifiers. After thousands of StarCraft II matches over the course of the week, the final WCS Europe Premier League seats have been filled by eight players who clawed their way to the top of the qualifier stage. The pool of 32 Premier League competitors has been split into eight four-player groups and the first Premier League Group Stage of WCS Europe 2013 Season 1 is set to begin.
During the round of 32 Premier League Group Stage, each group will feature five best-of-three matches that will be played in Dual Tournament format. The sixteen players who win two matches during the first round of group play will advance to the second group stage, while the sixteen players who lose two matches will drop to Challenger League where they will compete for a seat in the next season of Premier League. If you'd like a more detailed breakdown of group play, be sure to stop by the official ESL website.
