Hi everyone - having trouble getting WoW models to work in the Galaxy Editor. I've followed the instructions on SC2 Mapster with no luck. Here's my post from there:
Hi guys - I'm having trouble getting the models to work - I follow the instructions changing the 'models' tab and 'actors' tab models which didn't work for me - but all of the video's I've then looked at don't show any 'actors' model change - they only change the model in the 'models' tab. I've also done exactly what the videos have done, only changing the 'models' tab .m3, but that doesn't work either.
Any ideas what causes this? I'm going to try other models tonight if I get a chance to see if I can narrow down the issue..
For reference if anyone finds this thread later with the same issue:
From my thread on SC2 Mapster:
Some models, like the Dark Templar, have different model variations. The dog has three. You can check this amount by going to the Model in question and checking Art -> Variation Count. Change that number to 1.
That got it working!
