How to Create "spell ratios"

hello im curious if there is a way to input a ratio to change how much each damaging ability benefits from a units "spell power" atttribute. so that say a direct hit nuke ability would gain 100% of its benfits, but a DoT would only gain about 20% of the bonus per tick.

Not using data. There are ways of doing this using triggers.

The best way (in my opinion) is to have the ability do damage using a damage effect with 0 damage on it. Then have a trigger with an event that a unit takes damage from that effect. From there, calculate the damage based on the ratio of the damaging unit's attribute, and use the action "environment - damage unit (from unit)" to deal the damage.
