Map Description:

Underwood Grove is a short-distanced, 1v1 map. Aggression is supported through several attack paths, including dropable and cliff-walkable ledges.

The key feature of the map is the unlockable expansion. As the minerals in your main deplete, new pathways open to allow access to a semi-secure expansion. Assuming standard play, this roughly occurs six minutes into the game. This can be optimized with mules to open the pathways before 4 minutes, 40 seconds.

Aggressive builds can take advantage of the remote expansion, which opens up shortly into the game. This allows the player to rebound and stay active if the aggressive opener did not inflict sufficient damage.

Asserting map control is crucial, as your own defensive terrain can be used against you, pinning you into your base.

Cliffs and forestry give the illusion of security. Be wary of traveling across the map. An ambush may await you from the woods.

General Notes:
  • Line of sight blockers simulate a forest experience, by only granting partial vision.
  • Two destructible rocks (1000hp) guard your optional natural expansion.
  • Ledges at the highest altitude have pathing blocked. All other ledges are droppable.
  • Widow mines can be placed on the small cylinder cliffs. Siege Tanks can be dropped on the larger cliffs.
