One of the main problems today with deploying heavy armor besides the cost of transporting the vehicles themselves is transporting the fuel (and other supplies, but heavier vehicles specifically use more fuel compared to lighter vehicles) they use, which is not only costly but creates a larger more vulnerable logistics trail for enemy attack.

I'm not sure if it would be feasible, but the solution I might go for is creating all-electric heavy armor divisions that have (probably unmanned) support vehicles that can quickly swap out their batteries in order to skip the recharging process. The batteries would then be put onto a generator vehicle that would charge them. This generator vehicle would be nuclear powered, and would not bother carrying any weapons, instead being protected by armor and escort vehicles.

Even farther into the future, it might be possible to switch the fission reactor with inertial confinement fusion using lasers that would also act as weapons.
