Here are my system specs

Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T6400 : 2.0 GHz, FSB 800Hz, 2M L2 Cache;
3.5 ghz DDR2 800 MHz SDRAM
NVIDIA® GeForce® G102M, with 512MB VRAM

I've turned my graphics settings down to absolute minimum

I've turned my sounds settings off as much as possible

I am still experiencing significant lag especially when panning the screen around.

Is there anything I can do to increase performance? I realize my CPU is below minimum by 0.4 ghz but purchasing a new computer is not really an option.

I appreciate any suggestions because its just impossible to play Starcraft with system lag.

What kind of motherboard do you have? You may be able to overclock that processor to about 3.0 ghz... also the video card is a problem.. how much ram do u have?

Or did you just buy a prebuilt cpu like a hp? If so give me the model number

its a pre-built asus notebook so I'm probably pretty limited.

The graphics card says it has 512MB of memory, not sure how good it is though.
