Most often, this is because they released an updated version. Try checking for the map lower on the game list. Battle.net Account:

Workarounds:
<Coming> CTRL+ALT+F Your machine sounds like it should be able to handle Ultra settings, however it might be possible you're using too much memory. We have a way to limit the amount of memory consumed by SC2's assets, and I'd be curious to see if lowering this value would result in better performance for you. To enable this workaround, please create or edit your variables.txt file located in My Documents/Starcraft II Beta directory, and add the line: I've made a fix for this issue that should make its way unto the next beta patch. In the mean time however, there is a workaround that might get you up and running. http://www.iblocklist.com/list.php?list=blizzard Go to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\StarCraft II\Accounts and copy the folder there with numbers as the name. Rename the copy to 0. Next, go into that folder and rename the next folder to 1-S2-0-1, 1-S2-0-2, or 1-S2-0-3. Some notes... Bnet Account # (in \Accounts\) is the number of your Battle.net Account in order of creation. Char # (\1-S2-1-###) is the number of your SC2 Character in order of creation. Char Code is a "randomly" generated number to tag onto your SC2 Character. |

People using ATI drivers who have lasers coming out of random units here is the fix
1. DL Driver Sweeper 2. DL latest Drivers with CCC(don't install yet) 3. Run the driversetup so you can uninstall existing drivers via the CCC install/uninstall. 4. Restart computer into safe mode 5. Run Drive Sweeper and delete all ATI driver remnants only 6. Boot into normal mode and install new drivers and CCC then restart again 7. Profit Here's thread to show others who have had this problem and had it fixed via my method. http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/218522146?page=1 http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/188779288 |

Sixen,
Hope blizz is somehow compensating you for your time making info available to THEIR gaming community that paid for THEIR game. Essentially you're doing what they pay their administrators to do, or not do in this instance. NJ man and again, thank you. |
Sixen, Hahaha, thanks man. I appreciate it. |

On some maps and campaign missions the resources don't appear and when i send my units to go over to where the resources should be they disappear as well. Also on some parts those same maps my units will disappear in random spots throughout the map. Is there a fix for this? Oh and all my drivers are up to date.

Naming issues.
I'm certain it's been brought up already, but I haven't seen it in any official capacity. I'd installed the game a few days ago, but hadn't had a chance to play it. My wife then decided she'd like to test the game out, and logged in to my account, not bothering to read the naming information and just putting in what she assumed was a campaign character name, that, of course, being the one you see on this account here. Predictably, this isn't the name I should be using. I see the reason in having no real way for the players to go about changing their names as they like, but after applying unsuccessfully for aid to Blizzard support, I'm taking their stock-response email's advice and urging that there ought to be some work-around. Seems remarkable that there is nothing to be done about this sort of issue, even in an official capacity. |
