Those who use Comcast's security suite very recently received an update that installs GuardedID (GID) on your system. Unfortunately this anti-keylogger program is not gaming-friendly and will scramble your key presses inside many games making them unplayable.
Note: This issue will probably seem very familiar to those who use Lenovo laptops ------------------- Toggling GID off before launching a game (Instructions courtesy of the official GID FAQ): "Before you launch these games , right click on the "G" in you system tray (bottom right) and "Exit" GuardedID. You will then be able to game with no issues. After you are finished gaming, go to start/run/programs/Guardedid and click on Desktop to restart GuardedID's Desktop protection." ------------------- The solution is to disable or remove the GID program. Here's some nice workflows: Prevent GID application from Starting Up 1. Click Start 2. Click Run 3. Type "msconfig" 4. Select "Startup" tab 5. Unchecked GID desktop application 6. Press OK then reboot laptop. or Uninstall GID Application from Windows 1. Click Start 2. Click Control Panel 3. Click Add / Remove Programs 4. Search for "GID" / "GID Desktop Application 5. Select the item and select uninstall 6. hey! i demand that my account be f%$#% looked at. I am extremely angry at the fact that my 1v1 placement. for the new season 4. I got bronze, despite the f#&#$@ fact that i beat my opponent by 20,000 overall points. and he got in F%$&^#$^ SILVER?!? are you kidding me!!?!??!

If you truly deserve silver, then you'll be placed there. |
