That's just rediculous. Blizzard is contradicting their own video game. They have high intense blood and gore, with the minor "swear" words throughout the whole entire campaign and yet they delete a map for one "inaproprate" word that was used many times in the game?
I was reported on WOW once for saying the 'F' bomb like 3 times in a sentence and they gave me an in-game WARNING. Where is the warning for this situation? I guess you should replace that bad word with the 'F' bomb. Maybe then they won't delete it. |

They have high intense blood and gore, with the minor "swear" words throughout the whole entire campaign and yet they delete a map for one "inaproprate" word that was used many times in the game? honestly, to most of our sensibilities, the language used isn't a big deal to Blizzard, most likely for legal reasons, it is... their own content is trademarked and I'm sure has went through legal hoops to ensure that if someone finds the content objectionable, that they are protected YOUR created content, is distributed through battlenet, and may not provide Blizzard with the same defense if someone finds it objectionable its not hard to understand don't like it? feel free to leave... i'm sure the community with SUFFER from some fanboy not being able to use the word ass in a map, and all subsequent maps there-after be an adult, and don't include something that could be considered objectionable if you want your map out there and popular... the truth is your anonymity keeps you safe and makes you think that you have rights that you honestly don't you paid for the right to play in this sand box, you don't make the rules, live with it... real life is exactly the same if you honestly can't make a map without self-censoring, you should stop trying to spout on about free speech in an environment where it doesn't apply, and grow up |

I am allowed to publish maps again, someone at blizzard has taken notice. I will have an updated version with some minor tweaks and fixes coming up within the hour.
Edit: Nevermind I was too hasty in my assumptions I got kind of excited when it said I could actually publish but I cannot update my current map so I will have the update sometime tonight/tommorow morning. I can Publish maps that do not have the name Ultimate Tank Defence, Ultimate Tank Defense or Ultimate Tank Defense! whenever I try to use these names I get the error of not enougth space remaining on this account but if I name it Whacky Fun Tank Defence I can publish :P |

don't like it? feel free to leave... i'm sure the community with SUFFER from some fanboy not being able to use the word ass in a map, and all subsequent maps there-after With suffer? Some adult you are. The current system is annoying me, being that I was planning on making my own map and the fact that I see all of the "better" maps unpopular and at the bottom of the list. You honestly think a programmer will waste his time making an intense game for us now? You're making those who matter; leave. If a game can get deleted, exactly why would anyone waste weeks working on a custom map? Programmers (or regular users) usually have to put some effort to make a map. Least thing we wanna do is have them think twice before they start making one. For all you know, they could make the next best game like Dota. if you honestly can't make a map without self-censoring, you should stop trying to spout on about free speech in an environment where it doesn't apply, and grow up First off, in case you all forgot. This is a rated T for teen game. The majority of this community should consist teenagers. Therefore ass should be appropriate in this sort of rating for a game. Even on the box it says, "Language". |

It's a teen-rated game, and online interactions are not rated by the ESRB.
What could they have possibly find in your game that was so inappropriate... Hellz to the no if they're trying to make this a family environment. I'll never be able to play Matches again... |
