This is exactly what they did for brood war. And i have no problem with it. If anyone is crying about it, they need to understand they can still play WoL ladder.

Most of these kids didnt play BW and weren't there for the changes. I was 15 when BW came out.

I really hope they replace the aborted transformer with goliaths. Even if it's just a namesake.

It feels like Blizzard is ruining Star Craft 2. Seriously, no carriers or mothership? Thor is an ultimate now? And theyre getting rid of overseer? Why put units into a game just to take them back out 2 years later? Seriously, its just silly and im losing respect and appreciation for Blizzard.

I think it's clear that after Legacy of the Void they're done with Starcraft once and for all.

I keep waiting for that beta key to show up in my email..lol

man, what happened to full multiplayer will be available regardless of which one of the three games you buy.... having a separate ladder because you are adding units that won't be added via patch is not "full multiplayer" in my opinion. you disappointed me Blizzard, but I'm a !@#$ing chump so I'm gonna buy it anyways so I can have FULL Multiplayer capabilities...

As we all know, every time Blizzard releases a strategy game expansion, they patch the non-expanded game to have the expansion units, upgrades and changes for multiplayer. They did it for Brood War, The Frozen Throne, but for some strange reason, they're not doing it for Heart of the Swarm.

Oh wait.

Apparently one of the moderators got a wee perturbed about all the ultralisk posts and deleted them. I guess they're a little sensitive about criticism on the new ideas being put in.

Okay, NOW can we get a Heart of the Swarm release date out of Blizzard?

Don't expect it anytime soon because Diablo 3 just came out and they don't want to take away from the buzz that is around that game right now. Maybe a few months after it calms down a bit they are going to keep the momentum going and throw a beta out there. I hope we get some good stuff at E3 next month.

Ow I know, I'm just joking. Hell, I would be happy with a patch 1.5 invite.

I will be one sad fan… lol I got to play it a little at Blizzcon, and I am signed up for MLG (June 8-10). I’m hoping if I keep posting and logging in someone will notice me :)

Almost definitely not - last I knew, Blizzard wasn't attending that event.

I could be wrong, though. It just seems really unlikely all things considered, since HotS is getting a big showing at MLG which is the exact same weekend as E3 anyway - it seems like they would be better off saying anything they want to say there.

Ah okay. Glad to know a showing is soon then. Thanks a bunch!
