For example, Blizzard has expressed that Overseers aren't quite 'sexy enough', or something along those lines. They mentionned disastisfaction that immortals didn't fill their purpose as a tank, and ended up as a powerhouse. They wish the reaper could have been balanced better for the metagame, and it seems likely the reaper is getting an overhaul.
Zerg is almost certainly getting a burrowed attacker, which could bring back even more of zerg's immense map control powers from BW.
This guy watched the interview carefully I can tell. Here is a shorter version of it than the one He apparently saw.
Yeah, they are not happy with the overseer. Expect it to be overhauled. not cut.
They did not anticipate correctly how people would use the reaper & not happy with how it is now. Expect it to be overhauled not cut.
They want to add more tier one scouting options but are not sure how invasive they should be. Expect an alternative unit that can be made from the CC-Nex-hatch instead of a worker for the sole purpose of limited scouting.
The defiler & lurker are being considered but no guarantees. The devourer is less likely. If the defiler comes back expect it to be very different. If the lurker comes back expect it to be big powerful & expensive.
I think they stated that overseers might be getting the axe. I view the corruptor as the poster child for boring unit design. Super niche role and not even that good at it, plus it has virtually no utility (yes you can corrupt ground units but it's not worth 150/100) beyond that role.
Blizzard will most likely boot units like the Overseer and Corrupter from the game completely, and fill the void by touting upgrades like the Raptor and Splinterling as 'new units'. While leaving Protoss and Terran relatively unchanged aside from buffing underused units.
