How does zerg warp around space?

I thought that those were overlords, and were how they got off the homeworld and killed the xel naga watching them

These "behemoths" are Gargantis Proximae, the core genus of overlords.

Yes, they are space-faring. However, it says nothing about wormholes in lore, unless my starcraft manual got it wrong. Just the ability to survive in a vacuum.

Lore wise I don't remembered it ever been explained. Just how does zerg travel from one planet or system to another?

They create swirling pools of warped space, probably a tesseract, and they fly into it. The flapping wings thing in space is dumb, though. I think they should've used the Starship Troopers model, where the spore and launched into space [into spacefolds likely] and then when they land on the planet they're stuck there. Then they launch their own unspawned eggs toward another target body.

in the sc1 and BW deluxe collectors edition battle chest manuals had tons of lore including how the wormholes were made
The manual stated "Once the zerg creatures assimilated space faring beings, the original overmind would form a link with its cerebrates to combine their psionic power to form a wormhole capable of transporting the entire swarm across the galaxy
