I have an NVIDIA 560 Ti and have never had any issue whatsoever with the Starcraft client. As I understand it this isn't the only case of this issue, nor is it the only video card having the problem. Any information is helpful. I'm running Win7.

I have updated my drivers and attempted to step them back as well. It would see that it is a problem with the patch itself unless there is an issue outside of the drivers simply.

seriously blizzard, wtf is going on? cant you issue a response of some kind? every moderator has just said to use the repair tool, or use dxdiag tool, which does nothing, in fact, may repair tool has sat here for 3 hours, and is at 15% through checking the game, WTF!? so guess what, i cancelled it, now, the error i got originally about driver issues is gone, and sc2 loads into the opening screen with the planet in the background, with no text whatsoever, nothing, its not asking me for my email account/password, its just sitting there, not doing anything but showing a godamn planet spinning. you !@# holes really $%^-ed me here, just release a statement, saying "we're sorry, we *!@#ed up with this patch" cause look how many people are complaining about problems! jesus.

Yeah this error seems like kind of a dumb one to let slip through. There is definitely some error in logic in programing on this patch. It doesn't seem like a lone Graphics Card is to blame either. They need to revert some of the updated graphics card usage and more thoroughly test some of the new additions to the game. I hope they don't leave us here stranded in the water until they come up with a solution.

Weird, I was playing fine up until about an hour ago, and now it won't let me play, same error. I've updated my graphics drivers, so that's not it. Weird issue.

Yeah, I can't even play SC2 anymore. Every time I get into a game lobby, my game crashes and says there's a graphics driver error. I've installed the latest, rolled back to previous, all of it, still does it.

Hi I have the same problem since I have the patch 1.4.0

I have a ATI radeon 4650.

I tried to update or uninstal ... but it doesn't work.

But my korean account work??? I don't know why. So I guess it's not a problem of my graphic card.

Try running the Repair.exe tool, located in the Starcraft II\Support folder.

Yep, been having this same exact issue since the 1.4 patch. After the game starts from the lobby, it crashes before the game finishes loading. Updated the graphics card trive, tried the SC2 repair tool, didn't work.

Error

Failure due to videocard driver issue. This driver has known issues with StarCraft II. You must update your videocard driver to play StarCraft II. If the problem persists, for more information consult our support website at http://starcraft2.com/support.

I'm running on a Dell Inspiron N7010 with Intel HD Graphics. It only plays StarCraft 2 at the lowest settings, but I haven't had any issues until patch 1.4. The game's support site also states that StarCraft 2 supports Intel HD Graphics.
