Marine Suits Could Work

All i'm saying is if you put a criminal in the marine suit and send'em off to war it would be better than them just sitting and rotting in jail!

Unless you live in canada where the focus is on rehabilitation instead of punishment.

It is unethical to force compulsory military service, period.
i think it depends on how you define ethical. for instance say there were a bunch of criminals on death row for commiting horrible crimes and say this was in a nation that needed extra military service to survive, then maybe we should support such acts. if these compulsory deaths do more good than harm i see no reason to oppose them. assuming you could afford such suits and somehow being able to trust the criminals inside.

It all comes down to $. If you are willing to spend that much you obviously have a way of controlling the people inside.

people with felonies are not allowed in the military because they have shown a disregard for rules. Following rules in the military not only keeps yourself alive, but those around you. Hence why there is boot camp, and many rules that seem pointless in the military, it is to train the soldier to obey the instant they are given an order, not second guess and get someone killed while they mull a decision over.

Not saying that it is good...or bad... it just is what it is.

i wouldnt put a criminal in a suit. Id put a criminal somewhere where he wouldnt be a danger to others. Although a highly trained marine that can be trusted with such power would be a different story. Though in our current age our militaries are all about the drones, navys, artillery, and air forces. Infantry is still of coarse just as important. But its being ignored as it would seem in terms of technology. It would cost way to much to do something like this. But i believe something like this would be cool. We probably would only make an advancement that would serve a specific purpose.

These suits are likely to cost a lot of money. If you can sacrifice that much money, I think you can handle getting a trained and qualified person for the suit. You can't rely on controlling the criminal, either. If you could rely on controlling the criminal, then you could rely on just remote controlling a machine w/ no person in it, which would actually be cheaper on the tech scale of a Marine suit. The person is there to make sure nothing goes wrong with the tech and that it doesn't get hacked (most likely by the enemy, or by the criminal you put in it) or goes terminator. The only situation where this would really be useful would be in SC2, where you're dropping Marines on to char. In a first wave against an evil alien race, whether they're a criminal or a loyal soldier, they're going to fight the enemy, like you intended. But, even then, you'd have to drug them up so they don't fight overly cowardly/selfishly.

If we have neural re-socialization in real life to brainwash the marine recruits, why not?

they brainwash death row inmates put them in suits which do a lot of aiming for them so they could have a friendly fire prevention of some sort as well. It's also at a point where there are trillions of humans colonizing on an intergalactic scale and im sure a civilization of trillions of people could spit out thousands people deserving of captial punishment you could use as cannon fodder

if you made these you would need to put a self destruct button so does not fall in wrong hands.

Why bother inventing a brain-washing machine?

Put C4 in the crotch of the suit

    attach a remote detonator

lock them SoBs in the suits and make an example out of one to show how well C4 works on human genetalia

    Profit
