Iv'e been thinking lately about the whole campaign and what might happen in hots.

We all know that this "dark voice" guy is seriously bad news. He has armour like a high templar, and looks like one. We also know that there are 2 "porns" of him - Samir Duran, and Dr Nurad of the mobeius foundation. Duran [i]IS [/i]NOT the dark voice. He was a normal ghost, then corrupted by him.

Theory 1, Karass looks a lot like the dark voice and sounds like him to. Maybe?

Theory 2 (A theory that might sound legit)

IT MIGHT BE TASSADAR!!, if you think about it, him being seriously powerful and for him to turn around and stab everyone's back would be a good story, what do you guys think?

Also..Reading your whole theory makes little sense. Karass? Seriously? He HELPED Zeratul escape from Kerrigan and the swarm. Why would he? Then Zeratul would not have gave Raynor the artifact to discover that Kerrigan is needed to take on the dark voice, killed her on Char and walked off. So Karass being the dark voice makes NO sense.

Second, we do not KNOW that Duran/Nurad are the same person. It's possible but we do not know dead on.

Third. Fix that "Two porns of him" That really discredts everything you said.

The Dark Voice is supposed to be a fallen Xel'naga. It's likely that Ghost Tassadar is The Dark Voice, but that's about it. We know Duran isn't The Dark Voice, but that he works for it. And that he's ancient.

he might be since Nurad is "Duran" spelt backwards, that's why kerrigan claimed that she saw through Narud's "pathetic charade."

Besides, I'd think that saying the DV is someone else would be like saying the Queen of Blades is the Overmind. Th DV is a puppet master.

I wonder if the Dark Voice will appear in the heart of the swarm campaign.

I also looked at a youtube video of a campaign mission "In utter darkness" and it looks like that it could be a fallen Protoss.

MY THEORY:
Karass= Dark Voice
Karass was in Ulaan Deeps long before Zeratul arrival ...and what was doing there in the first place? ,its not a coincidence? ,he was obviously preventing Kerrigan to knew about the prophecy ..and why he let Zeratul live ..simple... he didnt want to blow its cover....and then he stay tryng to confront Kerrigan(the last hope) himself without Zeratuls precence , and why he let Zeratul give the prophecy to Raynor? ...again what does the artifact did to kerrigan? right ...desinfesting her also make to lose control over all the zerg...and that means he now will take full control of the swarm without resistance......he played its cards very well .that makes alot of sense if u ask me... ..
perhaps the answer will be in Heart of the Swarm cause she will regain her memory back and know if Karass really escaped from Ulaan ..cause we dont see if Karass really dies ...and as far as i know the protoss have BLUE shining EYES or GREEN for Zeratul...not RED as KARASS does if you have ever noticed .. but this is only a theory right Xombie?

It would be pretty funny if Duran popped out and he wasn't Narud at all. That would throw people for a loop! XD

But at Blizz Con ...they say the 2 of them have a conection Duran Narud , then another guy asks about Duran Narud..... and they answer him N A R U D..... D U R A N an they laugh

i have also readed about the story of Narud ....in some part he also have a secret laboratory within the instalations Möebius Foundation........and looks fascinated for the Xel´Naga and Zerg...and in WoL misson :´´ The Möebius Factor ´´Kerrigan says : Dr .Narud i can see your pathetic charade

and in the secret misson Dark Origins in Brood War Duran have too a secret laboratory in a Dark Moon ...and he is guarded by a group of mercenaries....in briefing says so...then u discover the zerg/protoss hybrid , then Duran talks with Zeratul .....then Zeratul leave the moon .....but he remarks ´´i serve a far higher power´´ and ´´ i had many names during the millenia but you will know me better as Samir Duran´´

SPOILERS SPOILERS!!!

WARNING:

I personally think its the way it was laid out. The Dark Voice represents an evil in the galaxy.

As for the non-confirmations of Duran/Narud... they have the same facial hair layout, so I think they are the same. Also if you remember in Brood War, Duran talks about knowing all to well the conflict of species and in another instance he says that he is older than "some stars themselves."

Also in SC2 if you listen closely to the interaction of Narud and Queen of Blades, she says "You might be able to fool them, but I know what you really are" (this is paramount to them being the same person because Kerrigan remembers Duran's PSI signature if you will after she infected him). Also according to the books at one point before this interaction Kerrigan "feels" Narud's powers and they are familiar to her but she doesn't recognize the face (adds to the idea that Duran is able to shift forms).

If you also read Flashpoint, something similar happens to the above scenario. Sorry this isn't a well written story, i'm at work and need to make this quick. Lastly, I want to add the secret mission in brood war, Duran mentions he servers a higher power and that subject is a mirror image of his master. Add that to the whole hybrid information you learned in SC2, Duran serves a Xel'Naga creature or something of that age.

EDIT: I forgot to add, it cannot be Tassadar, because he kills the overmind the first time around and the Dark Voice used the overmind to control the zerg and help him wipe out the protoss eventually. The overmind was created by the Xel'naga and eventually the dark voice superceded its original purpose which was to "absorb" the protoss and recreate the xel'naga theoretically. But the Overmind didn't want to be a pawn in this plan, even though it had no choice, it created Kerrigan and it's death would ensure she would ultimately have full control of the zerg forces. So it can't be tassadar, in fact it cannot be anyone who wanted to kill the overmind, or the overmind itself.
