Bandicam is one option. I haven't tried to add commentary to one yet.
you dont need dark templars at all. It's actually harder to win with dts. What tyou need to do is make as many collosus/phoenix/voidray/carriers as much as you can.
during the first minute, get your expansion at the gold to the left and wall it off with 3 pylons and like 5 cannons. use zeratul's void prison on ultras, and use phoenix against hybrids. Another advice: constantly upgrade your units. go double forge and double cyber core and upgrade as much as you can, if you stockpile up on minerals during late game, make walls with pylon + gateways + cannon.
Getting all of the achievements for this mission was tough for me, even trying just about all of the tips here in this thread. I finally got the Blaze of Glory attaboy after several tries.
I was mindful of my army size, making each slot have the most bang for the buck. At the start I purchased four Immortals, not adding any lesser units to my count. Anything that died from Immortal on down was not replaced. I pumped resources into upgrades until I could buy Colossus units. I cranked these until I had access to Void Rays, then pumped those only. Finally when Carriers were available, that's all I bought. After my army was maxed out (any units dying being replaced by Carriers) and fully upgraded, I started building cannons in concentration all around the base at the southwest end of the map.
By the time I pulled back to the high ground for the final stand, the space was choked with cannons. I also blocked the ramps with Gateways. I used the Phoenix fleet to disable Hybrids in every fight. Any time enough minerals built up, they were spent on units or cannons. Even with all this I barely made it to the final achievement, topping it by maybe 50 or 100 kills. I didn't get anywhere near 3,000...and I was playing on Normal difficulty!
Yow, that's a tough mission! I'm glad I got the achievement finally.
Towards the end of the mission, I wondered if going all out with Void Rays would have been better than the Carriers. Has that worked better for anyone?
Spam 5-6 probes from each nexus to minerals. Add a third Robo and go double forge/double Cyber. Constant upgrades and constant colossi with constant mini map awareness. The air they give you is pretty sufficient. I do make Phoenix if i lose too many of them. Make cannons on the high ground flanks with the extra minerals while archive is being processed. Get broodlords and lift Hybrids with your air. You want to lift the hybrids in the chokes near the cannons if possible. I use a hot key for air, one for ground, one for upgrades, and another for my two cannon builders on each side. Replace your cannon probes right away if you lose them.
A few minutes before the archive closes, clog you high ground ramps with 2-4 Nexi and start making interior base cannons everywhere (back middle sides) up there for attack and pathing protection. Retreat all of your forces to the middle of the high ground position as the archive closes. You should be able to get the 2500 from there. As they break through, pull back again to the back of your base for more pathing protection. Make sure you replenish your interceptors along the way. Use Mother's Vortex to split up attacks if you can. I got to 3,3xx on brutal doing this.
