It could be glitching on you. Some players have reported similar issues, but at different points of the campaign. The possible solutions range from profile permissions, saved file location, network permissions for user profile(s)...
There are several other posts focused on this. Give them a look and see if one of the offered solutions can help you. I know of at least one player who seems to be suffering campaign issues (for months now).
