A couple days ago I started a new campaign on hard and after every mission that I complete the game crashes in the loading screen that comes after you exit the after action report in every mission. Does anyone know why this is happening or what it might be and if so is there any way to fix it without having to uninstall the game and installing again.

Hi Apuelone,
Is there any error logs for this when it crashes, or any error messages? Also, can you post your system specs, so we know what we are working with? Obtaining System Information

Every time the game crashes the error reporter opens automatically and I've sent a report every time. Here is the information. I'm also planning on upgrading the RAM To 4GB. Will this help in any way?

Hi Apuelone,
I've removed the computer/user name from it, don't worry :) So, are you able to copy/paste a report here? When you send the reports off, they do to our developers who use them as feedback, and do not answer to them. Technical Support does not have access to these either, which is why posting them would be the best thing to help us out. You can use the "Pre" button to make a scrollable code box, to make things shorter. ________________________________________________ Mac Tech Support for Baaaaahlizzard Entertainment Not finding what you need here? This might be related to your drivers I believe. You may need to do a Combo Client update to reinstall the drivers and what not. Try following the link below and reinstall it.

I reinstalled the Combo Client and the game still crashed but this time it wasn't at the loading screen it crashed right after I pressed the "EXIT GAME" button from the menu in the main game screen after I aborted a mission to see if it worked and saved the progress on the campaign and exited the campaign. I honestly think it may have something to do with the low memory (RAM) the computer has, 2 x 1GB modules that came with the computer. I bought an extra 2GB module but haven't used it while playing because I don't know how it will affect the game and the way it performs. So I ask you this can I play the game safely with a total of 3GB memory, 1 x 1GB and 1 x 2GB modules of different brands?

You can play it with 3 GB. I'm not sure on the different brands. Ideally as long as the RAM is the same, down to the same voltage it should be fine. I think Apple recommends each slot mirroring each other, but I've seen Mac Pros, iMacs and etc with 3 GB of RAM.
Before doing that though, try doing some basic maintenance and see if it helps. Repair Permissions via Disk Utility
2. Select the hard drive the game is installed on 3. Select the First Aid option 4. Click on the Repair Disk Permissions button Repair Disk via Safe Boot
2. Press the power button. 3. Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone. 4. Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress bar (in 10.5, it looks like a spinning gear). 5. After you get to the User Account Login screen, choose restart to bring up the the Mac in normal mode. Resetting permissions on the Starcraft II folder
2. Press Command + I 3. In the Info box, go to the Sharing & Permissions section and click on the lock and unlock it, entering your admin password when prompted. 4. Make sure you have Read & Write permissions 5. Click on the Burst icon (cog wheel) and select Apply to enclosed items Then run a repair from the repair tool located in /Applications/Starcraft II/Support. ________________________________________________ Mac Tech Support for Baaaaahlizzard Entertainment Not finding what you need here? Can you send me your system information, and system logs after the next crash happens? This way I can look at your system as a hole and see what I can find out.

I installed the 2GB module and was able to go all the time I played without the game crashing. So in other words I can't send you the info because it hasn't crashed so far. Thanks for all the help. If anything else related with this problem occurs I'll post it in this thread and thanks again. They should really give you guys a medal or something for being so patient and effective on your jobs.:)
