Backbone of Protoss air.

Used maybe twice in pro games.

Heck, the mothership sees more use than the carrier. It serves no role. In Brood War it was a unit that relied on the bad targeting AI of other units. Now that you can select all and focus fire it's lost its use. Plus it's a massive air unit, which is hard countered by most other air units.

I'd say I'm glad you aren't getting HotS, but we all know you're going to buy it anyway

Carries might be staying since the upgrade for phoenix range made them a good muta counter, tempest was replacing carrier since tempest can clear mass muta's but like i said before

odds are that you might see it in story mode. theyre just killing it over multi-player because theyre easier to kill than the damage they inflict so theyre not really worth having
