This excellent forum post should tell you how to do this. This has instructions on how to do this with a DVD install and using the digital installer: http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/248105800

That's strange. Are you downloading this from Battle.net? I just tested this out, and I have all the mentioned files.

This sounds like a connection issue. The error "Tracker not Responding" is due to a port/firewall issue. You will need to configure your connection properly.

If you are wireless, try bypassing your router, and directly connect to the modem. This ensures you are not hitting the router firewall.

Bypassing the router
    1. Unplug the power to your modem.
    2. Follow the ethernet cable from the modem to the router. Unplug it from the router.
    3. Plug this end into your computer.
    4. Plug the power back into your modem and let it start up.
    5. Restart your computer.
    6. Test.

Also, you may want to configure your OS X's firewall, to ensure it's not being blocked. You can use this handy link to configure your firewall.

Also, are you on a campus/college/public network?

The functionality is different been SC2 and WoW downloaders. This is probably why, and SC2 may use different ports as well.

hey im taving this problem with windows 7.

redownloading the game but im on a college network now.

ive givin access to all sc2 related programs in the firewall and have tried rebooting after running in "selective start" :
once with startup apps and once without. without internet connection though the client just gives me the same "tracker is not responding" error message, only sooner.

do you know if this is still a firewall problem?

thanks
