Computer Reaction Time

Hello, I have an issue with my computer's reaction time. My mouse scrolls fine across the screen (which I've come to understand as the bulk of OS X Lion issues), but when I get to an icon with the cursor, the icon doesn't react (i.e. light up) until a half second later. I'm not sure what the issue is other than OS X Lion because SCII used to run fine on low settings before but now it's just unbearable.
Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Memory 4 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM Graphics ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT 128 MB Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 (11C74) Anyone else have this problem before? It appears to make my entire computer run sluggish really. When SCII is open even having a Safari window open is torture to wait for a webpage to load. |

Realisticly, that's a very low amount of vram for quartz, and SC2 to share. You're probably seeing the effects of SC2 really taxing your low end video card to point rest of system is very sluggish and unresponsive.
as for how bad SC2 runs, that's a known 1.4.x issue where it's running worse then it did in 1.3.x, they are working on that one. when they fix that it may reduce the symptoms of first problem. |
