Hi there,

I've searched around in the forums, and can't find any message relating to this error message. Starting 2 nights ago, I've had a bug when playing as a random zerg when I morphed three drones into spine crawlers. The game game me the following error code, but kept on playing:

WARNING (366,4)
CActorUnit(SpineCrawler)

Note that the two numbers changed from morphed drone to morphed drone, which tells me this is simply related to the location of the drones on the map. After that, my drone became small white domes with a red rectangle within. The morphing continued as planned, and the morphing took place, but the image remained. I must say it was a little bit creepy when the attacking terran marines started exploding simply from being in the dome's proximity.

I completed the game, saved the replay, and tried another game. However, I was playing random and forgot to force the game as zerg again, so I found myself playing protoss, and the error never occured.

Now, last night, I played zerg again, and the same thing happened when I started morphin spine crawlers. Obviously, it doesn't prevent me from playing, but I'd really like to get the normal image back.

At the time the first error occured, I was playing on Arid Plateau, 1 vs 1, as Random vs Random Computer (Medium).

Anyone ever had that problem before?

Thanks for any help.

Hey Gorgameth,

Is the issue still occurring? Does it look that way in the replays? Could you try running the repair tool for me?

Thanks,
Kelphe

Hi Kelphe,

Yes it is still occuring, and it does indeed look that way in the replays. I'll try running the repair tool when I get home tonight, and try it again. If it still does, I'll try to attach one of the replays with my message (I did copy them to a flash drive before leaving this morning, but I stupidly forgot the drive in the USB slot of the computer).

Thanks,
Gorgameth.

I've looked into running the repair utility, found it and run it, and it did solve my problem. I knew it wasn't a big thing, but couldn't find anything on that error message. I was now thinking of uninstalling and reinstalling, but now know there's a repair tool which is even simpler. :)

Thanks a lot. Love this game.

Hey Gorgameth,

Glad the issue is fixed. Could you help us out and still post the replay?

Thanks,
Kelphe

Hi Kelphe,

Of course I'll provide the replay.

I hope you can see the error, or what happened that caused it. I've run the replay on my own machine, and could no longer see the error.

Have a nice day,

Gorgameth.

Dont think you can see the error, as the software everyone has works properly now. I think it'll just show as a normal spine crawler for anyone who doesn't have the error.

You must record this with fraps or another recording software ;)

Cheers~

Hi Lioknight,

Don't know what fraps is, but I'll look it up. Thanks for the information.
