StarCraft® II

Unable to download maps when I queue for 1v1

When I queue for a 1v1 quickmatch, the downloader at the top says "Downloading item 1/8" But the map never downloads. All of my 2v2 3v3 and 4v4 maps downlaoded right away when I queued for matches. The first map it's trying to download is Cloud Kingdom LE or something

I strictly want to play 1v1 this season so it would be awesome if this would work : )
Thanks

LOTS of people are having this very same problem... Including myself :(
I suggest looking down the thread list, there's a number of posts from blizzard and it's currently unsolvable, so you'll have to be patient. Hope this at least help reassure that blizzard is aware of the problem!

Ditto. Same situation fails to download item 1 of 8 Cloud Kingdom LE. hovering the mouse over the download prompt starts the estimate of the download time at "Less than a minute ago" and just keeps going up.

My buddy was having the issue and I fixed it for him. I backed up my Cache folder and sent it to him and it fixed the issue. Please note, I only downloaded the 1v1 maps for this so if you are having problems with 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 or FFA you are out of luck. You can download the Cache folder here http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?gbg6m1oi4ok6zhg.

Step 1: Download the Cache.zip file - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?gbg6m1oi4ok6zhg
Step 2: Delete your old Cache folder, Index, and Offline files from "C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net"
Step 3: Extract the Cache folder from the zip file to the "C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net" directory.
Step 4: Play some SCII!

*Note: The ProgramData folder is hidden and you may have to show hidden files & folders in order to see it. Also, this cache is from US server and will probably only fix issues with the US server.

Neither can I. I have a Starcraft II directory under C:\Program Files and I have a Starcraft II folder under My Documents. I have a Battle.net directory under the Program Files location, but no Blizzard Entertainment, and there is no 'cache' to delete, just some .MPQs.
