Hanson dialogue on Char?

We could always give them additional abilities. Every hero in BotB has additional weapons, could always give Tosh and Nova something more interesting. It's a moot point though, because the game is already set in stone. I'd just have liked to see those choices reflected in the later game.

I know. I was just trying to make conversation.

Oh and I agree Johnny, the mission itself was designed well for the units it had. As it stands currently Tosh and Nova wouldn't fit. They would have to rework the entire mission from scratch, including the abilities of all of the hero units to make each have their own role. Now this is isn't going to happen now, I think the general idea was to state that it would be cool to have your decisions effect missions later down the line, hopefully a lesson Blizzard takes in HotS and LoV. Personally I always liked when you see an action you did at the beginning of the game have some sort of subtle change to an almost unrelated circumstance later, even if it's a change in dialogue.
And while I think the Toss helping the Dominion would be a little bit of a stretch, it's not impossible. They're just sort of not happy with them, not really at war with the Dominion. And they know Raynor HATES them, so if he's working with them against the Zerg I'd think they'd get the picture. Honestly I think it's much more feasible then Tosh being all hunky-dory with the alliance with the Dominion, my first play-through I expected him to at least have something to say about it. Even Hanson are more vocal against it. |

I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon, at least not in HotS. In an interview during May 2011 Press Event, one Blizzard developper (I think it was Johnny Ebbert) revealed that the developers were not entirely satisfied themselves with how the story choices turned out, hence why they'll probably focus more on gameplay choices in Heart of the Swarm. |
