Fans that feel the Hollywood movie did not live up to their standards as fans are making a new movie for DBZ fans. I feel the same way and donated $50 to them. Watch the videos they have posted on their Youtube account. This is going to be great. If you're a DBZ fan perhaps you'll consider helping make their project even better.

Are you kidding? I was never the same after I watched it. I set my hopes so high that my life literally crumbled when it didn't meet my impossible and irrational expectations. I stopped being able to smile shortly after I viewed the film. In fact, I just sit in my room all day crying and cutting myself.

Yeah the movie was pretty bizarre to be honest. I never saw the original Dragonball anime (the first series) so I don't know if it was actually following something resembling that story of if they were just pulling stuff straight out of their @sses, but none of it seemed to make any sense. Something about a demon lord and goku losing his mind. I can't really remember, I saw it on a plane. All I can remember is that it had almost nothing to do with anything dragonball. In any case, a clearly Caucasian Goku with a clearly Asian Chi Chi just seems really campy. If you're going to make one of them white, make them both white. If you want to make them asian, have both actors be asian. It was all very strange and crappy.
Just for your info I think it came out in 2008 or something. Called Dragonball Evolution.
