Hey ironman, I have a idea for a map I think might be interesting, but I lack the mapping skills...how would I go about contacting you about it?
Edit:Awesome maps btw |

Using a similar tileset ≠ copying a map -The base layouts are different between Ohana and Bel'Shir -Ohana has less bases -Ohana is also more dynamic -Ohana doesn't suffer circle syndrome; bel'shir does Idk man, if you honestly put ohana and bel'shir next to eachother and you say "oh snap, identical!" then you are one sad, sad person. Now, if you think ESV Spring is a "copy" of Korhal Compound, consider these: -Spring has more bases -Spring has highground 3rds, korhal doesn't -Spring is a much larger map Don't look at the 3-4 base layout and compare it to another map and call it identical or a "copy." That's complete stupidity, especially when you lack the ability to realize that other features on the map completely change the play styles. |

I even said it on today's mapper show. I didnt mention "comparing maps" but it falls in this category. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfx1juh46Dc 41:20 |

it doesnt even look like ohana...
what are you people even looking at?! so ironman, i like that you're sticking to half bases even though it'll be changed if this map ever gets considered for the ladder. -.- anyway, map looks pretty good ZvP, so i approve. we're talkin' crossfire levels of good. |

What's the thought behind that one 6m1g base? It seems like that would be the last base that anyone would take, because it's so easy for someone to shoot at it from the high ground. If it has less resources and is easily attacked, what's the motivation to take it?
Otherwise, it looks really good- I like the high ground third and the center high ground, it forces you to think a lot about how you approach your opponent's side of the map, and most maps don't offer that right now. |
