Medivacs should cost 150 gas

Okay lets put things into perspective here, I was listening to Destiny's stream and him dropping the knowledge bomb about the risk reward aspects of this game and that terran easily has the highest reward and lowest risk involved whether its marine drops or blue flame hellions killing 50 drones in 1 shot. Without getting into too much about what he was saying unless you've already thought these things through then you'll already know. There is no arguing that marine drops are easily the most annoying thing in this game and the reward is so high they can potentially kill off an expansion or 20 workers and risk only losing a handful of marines and a medivac. Everyone back in beta used to say nerf marine dps but blizzard will never do that it would probably break terran as is - so I had another solution to fixing this high reward low risk for terran and that is increasing medivac gas cost to 150 gas, just think about how cheap 100/100 is for what this unit can do in game. Could it be balanced or imbalanced with that change I cant say 100% sure but I think it would penalize terrans for doing drops a bit more without nerfing the actual marine or marauder and balance out the risk reward aspect of them.

Warp Prisms and Overlords don't usually an absurdly powerful 50/0 T1 unit that can burst down tech in a matter of seconds, and can kite incoming defenses to boot! They also don't heal said t1 unit.

And while we're at it lets increase the cost of infestors to 300 gas because they're a little too good. Oh wait they're fine as they are? Well so are medivacs.

for 1 energy it heals 3 life??


Transfuse heals about the same amount per cost and is instant. Try again.

Zealots have absurd health and can be warped in. And again, overlords cost 0 supply.

Yes but it doesn't overheal and can be activated at minimum energy, plus, queens do not act as dropships!

This is a retarded idea... try not being a tard and putting cannons, spores, or turrents around your base to keep drops at bay.... and as far as medivacs.... target them alone with a seprate group... thats what i do when going vs terran. have 1 group for front battle and 2nd group to take out medi...

step your game up.

and overlords are same as supply depots... dont be stupid.

50 gas, do you know how much that is? That's an extra 50% gas increase for the medivac, which is huge! That's like adding an extra 25 gas cost to the stalker.

Also, you don't have to nerf something just because it's good.

Drops are powerful for all races and currently Terran is the only one that is really utilizing them at all as part of standard play.

The risk reward for all of them are the same.

Overlords do not cost supply and must be constructed anyway so losing drops isn't as big of a deal for Zerg as it is for Terran, combined with the mobility they also bring Banelings Zerg drops are EXTREMELY underutilized.

Warp Prisms are starting to get more and more mainstream and that is great! Warp Prisms with the speed upgrade are by far the fastest flying unit in the game, and their ability to generate pylon power allows for a higher risk but much higher reward drop than anything Terrans can do. All for 200 minerals too. What a bargain.

All Medivacs have going for them is their ability to heal bio units. They are slow, expensive and cost 2 supply each.

Drops are great for every race. Don't try and nerf Terran's just because you refuse to use yours.

I think you should have started out at 110 gas... not 150.

So much exra gas just polarizes those on each side of the debate to the point of no comprimise.
