umm team games you can transfer stuff back and forth.
as for saying the S word....never get in a legal battle with someone with more money or the government behind them. Pretty sure that Agreement you clicked agreed to before playing covers pretty much everything. The two options are. 1. whine, cry, my dad can beat up your dad, and put on the emo drama queen skirt 2. Talk nice, be polite, and give a logical problem. For bonus points a solution suggested equally nice polite and logical. One of these choices get you listened to the other laughed at...Make your choice. |
I may be misreading your post, but please dont lump him in with us WoW Players. I play wow, I also play sc2 and his level of knowledge isnt standard with all of us WoW players who I am sure a fair share came from the original SC and War3/2/1. |

Lol daxx so much win. Blizzard going face to face with a 16 year old who doesn't always get to play the game his way. I didn't intend to sound aggressive, but that was certainly curious phrasing. I think this is a good time to mention that we take exploitation very seriously. If anyone ever believes a player to be making use of a hack or exploit, please feel free to report it. We care, and we do act on those reports; we actually just recently did another wave of actions for exploitative activity, in fact. |

I don't have specific intel on what kind of exploits were in use in front me, just that the actions occurred. Hopefully you reported those guys? |

How about maphackers in gm? I have ran into at least four in the last 3-4 weeks. I hope you guys are aware, the very widespread notion about maphackers and stuff is that blizzard really doesn't care, and reporting does NOTHING. I'm not saying this is necessarily true, but this is what the community very widely believes. Same thing for other kinds of abuse (verbal, for instance, or other kinds of cheating). I've noticed you guys have started to try to repair the image on this but... for certain things I don't think it's improved much. I would think it could do a lot if you just implemented a thing where it says "you've been reported for verbal harassment 5 times. cool your jets bro" |

Yeah, but one of them I reported like 3 months ago, he still remains in top 50 gm. The really sad part about all this, is I have beaten every map hacker I have noticed, that is how bad they are and yet they still get gm. |

That's another thing I wanted to comment on, since there's some persistent confusion about how team matchmaking works. Hokay, sooo. This is an instructional hypothetical, so bear with me: I play with a couple of friends. We do 3v3, and each of us is Diamond ranked, say. When we queue up for a team game, our team has its own MMR, which is mostly a blank slate because we haven't played any games together as a team yet, and none of us have done any team games. The system will attempt to match us up with Diamond ranked players for our first few games, and this period kind of like playing placement matches, but our team MMR is evolving at the same time. Our 1v1 MMRs remain separate. Now, if one of our teammates drops out, and we replace them with a Bronze player, that's a new team, with a new blank MMR slate. It will then try to match us up with slightly easier opponents because it's taking into account our new teammate's league ranking, but again, the team MMR will normalize after we play some games.
That's a mis-perception that we face in all our franchises, I'm afraid. I think perhaps that part of it has to do with the lack of immediate feedback because we tend to issue suspensions for exploitation in waves. That's not always the case, mind you, but it is how they're often handled. |

Hello everyone, I just wanted to say that i am seriously disappointed in sc2... Im not going to get into who is "imba" and why. I am going to post stats from all high level tournaments and korean games.... Also, for people who think that the game is balanced because all ladders have roughly 50 50 win rates, heres an example. player x and player y play races a and b... player x and player y have the exact same SKILL LEVEL, but player x plays race a, which is slightly overpowered and is thus placed in diamond, as opposed to player y who plays b and is placed in platinum. This is because it requires more skill to play b and make it into diamond, as opposed to a...
http://i.imgur.com/cGzPj.png http://i.imgur.com/dNKqa.png There are the team liquid stats... I tried to be as OBJECTIVE as possible so that everyone can read this without feeling offended. Finally, only the highest level pro stats can determine how the game is balanced, because we can assume they are of roughly equal skill (when observing all pros) TO Blizzard, sc2 is one of the greatest games ever developed. But seriously balance the DAMN GAME... There are imbalances in all the races, I dont know how to fix it, BUT YOU GET PAID TO! I PAID YOU TO FIX THE GAME! SO FIX IT PLEEEEEEASE! |

What can you honestly expect Blizzard to do about community notions if they're already ingrained? What the community actually wants is public crucifixions of exploiters and harassers but Blizzard is never going to do that for obvious reasons. They say they are handling the problem and no one believes them because they can't see it being done. There isn't much Blizz can do about that. |

TLPD stats cannot and shouldn't be used to balance games. They are poor statistics that show nothing other than trends in mainstream e-sports. |

It happens. I have been in a lot of games where I am given 2 copper players that literally tell me they have just gotten the game or whats a wall and I have been trying to get out of !@#$ty gold league for 3v3 random(yes gold is for baddies) some time now but, then I get a bad run of team members in random. I love getting first in my division like I don't know 10 times now then get close to ranking out and then i get 7 straight games of placement with silver and copper scrubs that need to uninstall the game. The match making system is not perfect as it uses a point system so the point system will find ways to make teams that may seem balanced with points but all the system is doing is just adding in a higher rank player to off set the numbers so both teams average out to be equal rating. but in reality that means the system expect you to carry your teams in my case its 2 people. Player X may be very good but he cant carry 1-3+ people as the system does not take this into account.
