StarCraft® II

Patch 1.5.0 Update - 8/2

Community Manager
Hello everyone,

We wanted to give you a quick update on our progress with patch 1.5.0 and a few of the fixes that you can expect within the next 24 hours.

You will see fixes applied to the following:

    - Zerg larvae will no longer block the construction of new buildings.
    - Splash damage will once again apply to units on varying cliff levels.
    - The mode selector in Leagues and Ladders will no longer show duplicate entries for 3v3 and 4v4.

Also, in the very near future we are planning a reactive patch for many of the top issues that have surfaced including (but not limited to)

    - The client crashing when loading the Friends tab in Leagues and Ladders.
    - Some profiles not displaying a players’ ladder data in certain situations.

The team is working as fast as it can to correct these issues and many more. Thank you for your patience!

Maybe you should go back to the old patch!

Loving it!! No problems on my end, and have been able to bump the graphics quite a bit with no changes to FPS.

Thanks Blizz!!!!

Cloaken you are awesome, you make up for how bad the launch of this patch really was.

Hi, why is nobody talking about the issue with the game stuttering and then catching up to itself?

I thought it was just a performance issue with my pc being old and all, but even people with new high end hardware are reporting this issue with the new patch...

This issue has gotten much worse with 1.5.0 and was only a minor inconvienence beforehand. Why has 1.5.0 exaggerated this so much to the point of being almost unplayable?

Maybe you should go back to the old patch!

I appreciate the thought, ideas, and effort that went into this patch, but I do not enjoy how much more difficult it is to check a player's rank through their profiles. I am also getting significantly more lag than before, even after lowering my graphics. The last issue I have is that my European client did not work after updating NA and EU. I had to go into my Starcraft II folder and changing the language setting in the Variables file. If I want to play my North American client after playing EU, I have to change the settings once again.

I am looking forward to the fixes!

Ok thank you Blizzard for your support.

Can anyone please tell me how to view "career wins" in the profile on sc2? I've been drilling down the menus and can't find it #frustrated.

I like everything besides the zerg icon in the quickmatch tab, and the profile viewing. but everything is fine for me you also have to realize that people who like the patch are not really going to come to the forums in order to complain nore give feedback

When can I change regions like Diablo III? I don't want to install more than one client any more. It cause language issues.

Like ever? Current profiles don't display jack squat about anyone.

I don't really think the patch is as terrible as many make it out to be, but there really should have been more precaution and transparency around it. For instance, Mac 10.5.8 users shouldn't have found out they can't play the game anymore by the launcher straight up ceasing to work.

Also, profiles.
