We've recently added StarCraft2 as one of our favorite PC RTS games. We're not that good, we're not that fast, our hot-keying skills are, well who are we kidding we have no hot-keying skills.
But we're a pretty good group of guys that typically play once our kids go to bed. What makes The DaDs Army a unique gaming clan? Since 2002 when we first hit the online battlefields we've been a PARENTS ONLY group of gamers with an interest in team play on a fun and competitive level. We like to be tactical, but having fun with friends comes first! We run clean, family-oriented servers, which we know is appealing to many ADULT GAMERS. Our servers in Chicago provide a solid and stable gaming experience. We run a clean Ventrilo server for our voice communications. The [DaDs] and their friends offer a friendly and competitive gaming environment safe for the entire family. The [DaDs] play many games. We've got a variety of shooters from all talent and skill levels, as well as zombie killers, simracers, online pilots, and a variety of other RPG and RTS fans within our clan. At approximately 70 members, [DaDs] gain private access to our servers so there is always a competitive place to play, member only rooms in our Ventrilo voice communications server, and special access on our DaDs Army website to round out our benefits. Not everyone makes it in, but those that do find friends for life online and off. Come visit our website at www.TheDaDsArmy.net to learn more about The DaDs Army, our game servers, and to get to know us in our public message forums. Be sure to click the ABOUT US link to get all the history and information about our clan. ALL ADULT GAMERS ARE INVITED! http://www.TheDaDsArmy.com |

Proud Member for about 2 1/2 years in the DaDs Army. Great group of people and avid adult gamers. Nice to have a family of friends to always be able to catch a game of whatever your interest is in. Lately the StarCraft II fever has been on. I'm still trying to catch up on this game. Too many FPS games for me lately. RTS is a challenge to get back into but Starcraft II seems like a well balanced game to get back into the saddle again!
Check the DaDs out of you are a mature, family oriented adult gamer. |

I have been with the DaDs army for 3 years now. It is such a pleasure to game with likeminded folks in a pleasant yet competitive environment. I got my own screaming kids to contend with daytime, I don’t need hyperactive drama of online teenagers to listen to when the kids are asleep. So no matter what games you are interested in; Call of Duty, Left 4 Dead, BFBC2, Starcraft 2, Company of Heroes Online, Supreme Commander, Alien Swamp & etc, and you are a parent, I would not hesitate to ask you to try us out and see what a difference it made to your ear drums.
Check us out at www.thedadsarmy.net to Skribe: we have about 15 players who got SC2 at the moment, but we play other games too. |

Every to their minivans and put on your dad pants with respectible shirts. hehehe You know it, last week I rolled into the school parking lot in my 2006 family van, which I dub Daddy's battle wagon, hey its got power and leather seats, to go pick up my kids from the nursery and pre-K having just finished listening to the starcast pod cast, geeking it out with Kyle & Garrett. ha! Surprised how much traffic we've seen today coming from battle.net into www.thedadsarmy.net website. Nice! |

I have gamed with the Dads for many years.
From the first time I found them with MOHAA to the ever changing gaming landscape that followed. There is a great gang of pops (and a few moms) and the primary focus is just playing games that are fair, fun and free of the regular kiddie shenanigans that come with playing online. Thumbs up to them and thumbs up to any that are just looking for a game in between that other little thing called "life." Cobble p.s. plus if you have any skill in this game its like shootin fish in a soup can over there so that's a bonus as well :) |
I have a friend that's 24 years old, he's pretty mature when it comes to online games. I'd like to recommend him to you but he has no kids. In fact he's a virgin rude comment. that's going to be me in 5 years. (not trolling or joking) |

I was gonna say "like shooting minnows in a swimmin pool" but that seemed to make it sound like more of a challenge :D
In all seriousness though the skill level there ranges from "Yeah... I got time to build twenty something battlecruisers as they are not gonna figure out how to get past my two siege tanks." to "Crap what’s that? Crap how did they get in there? Crap all my (insert army name here) is all gone? Crap he/she is coming at my base now! CRAP... GG" Once again, always have a fun time with them and not only on this game but many, many other games as well... but this game has made its way within the ranks of DaDs and looking forward to the "Challonge" fun that is sure to come up soon :) |

the dads suck, bunch of noobs that can't play worth a darn! if your looking for easy cheese cannon proxy tactics and reaper rushes, this is the place to be!
wait, I'm thinking of someone else..The DaDs Army rocks..been with em for a while, even though I suck at SC2 they still let me win sometimes which gives me that warm fuzzy feeling inside. No pro level starcraft players here, so no fear of getting killed in the first 2 mins of the game while trying to dig your minerals from the planets surface. It's a fun bunch of people that are very tolerant, but the one thing they don't tolerate is childish behavior, that lately I see running rampant through forums and in-game. If your looking for a casual bunch of gamers that's a fun bunch of guys, come join us! And make sure they put you on the Reaper squad, we need all the members we can get! |

I am also a member of the DaDs Army, they are a great group of people that like to have fun and release some stress on the virtual battlefield. Drop by our site and check us out

Nice.
I was a young 25 year old with sKiLLz in starcraft 1, now I'm a 37 year old father... but I can hotkey and micro (to a degree :0 ) I like laying the smack down on those young whipper snappers. That's why I play around 4pm, figure they just got home from middle school. ;) |
