Help! I can't play sc2!

With the recent patch, agent.exe is staying open and hogging up memory for pretty much everyone. However, for me I cant' launch the game. It just stays at "Checking for Updates..." then it just crashes. I am able to get into WoW due to the launcher being it's own thing, and diablo 3 thanks to someone suggesting I should make a shortcut of it and put -launch on the end of it's path. However, that did not work for Starcraft 2. Please, please, please help someone. I just want to play!
