I was on cyberpower recently trying to make a good build. The Amd Radeon 7770 1GB says it gets around 65 Fps on ultra with starcraft 2 thats more than amazing to me. Does anyone know if this card is that good?

Don't believe what they say, but HD 7770 is indeed a capable graphics card.

so do you believe them on this card? Even though this is high saying FPS to me on ultra i will be playing Starcraft on low do you think i can easily get above 90 fps with these specs and video card?:

Don't buy from cyberpower or any other "computer building" websites. They're just overpriced and they could possibly damage your computer during shipping (my friend's computer, once hooked up, got the blue screen and had to return it)

It will be way cheaper and fun if you build it yourself. Also if you build it yourself, it's easier to upgrade it once the hardware gets old

Don't buy an AMD CPU setup.
Power supply must be 80 Plus certified.

That system will easily do what you require of it, Unlimited.

Sort of, but it's not optimal use of your money.

What is your budget, I can give you an example setup from CyberPowerPC.

I'm currently getting 120-200 fps on ultra @ 1080p on my 6770. Go for it man, i'm only running an i3 processor. Whatever you have is probably equal or better.

my budget is $800. I need a monitor with the pc and windows 7 of course. i want atleast 90+ fps ON LOW! maybe around 60 - 70 on ultra. I will play probably only on low but i want really good fps like 90+.

Need monitor? You are way better off buying one separately from NewEgg, not with the CyberPowerPC. You'll pay a -lot more- if you buy through CyberPowerPC.

For example, in your build, they add $165 for a 22" 1680x1050 monitor. Same money can get you a 24" monitor with full 1080p HD resolution from NewEgg.

So just buy the PC from CyberPowerPC, and get monitor from elsewhere.

The i5 CPU featured in this is way better for SC2 than AMD FX CPU is.

EDIT: Although i though big time. I did find a friend selling a computer and offered it to me. He says his computer gets Starcraft 2 ultra around 60 fps steady.

It's worth it for the price, but that 60 FPS with ultra should only really happen with low resolution monitors, or 1v1.

However, for a little more, you can get a new computer with much better CPU.

That resolution is low enough for the HD 5770 to run with flying colors. However, the CPU remains a suspect.

It's not so much about graphics quality, it's that the CPU may struggle when lots of units are on.
