Hello, I'm having some problems with Starcraft II.

I start the game, and it runs beautifully for a while. However, once I play four or five games or so, at some point during a match, or a replay, the game will suddenly slow to a snail's pace, choppy framerate, and then just freeze altogether. I can't exit out or click on any menus. CTRL ALT DEL will not work. I just have to restart the computer. It's weird, it feels very random and sudden, always unexpected. I have most applications off except those crucial to my system. This is a brand new ASUS x401a.

This has been costing me ladder games, which is really disheartening.

By temperature, do you mean physical temperature of the computer? I will check the CTRL ALT F next time I play, but I can assure you, my computer's physical temperature isn't even warm. It runs at a very average near-room temperature, the fan runs smoothly, no problems on that end.
