The colossus are op noob friendly a click unit please remove them like the warhound. so protoss and the other races can be happy this crappy badly designed unit is gone.

Maybe if you didn't go mass marines 24/7 against colossi you wouldn't lose to them so much.

Maybe if you made some air units you wouldn't lose to warhounds.

I am not losing to protoss. I just think the colossi needs to get the same thing the warhound is getting... a fix.

The people calling him a troll do realize a lot of pro players, including toss pros like Grubby, want the collosus out right? It is just bad game design and an overall boring unit with almost no micro ability for pros to separate themselves.

I used to feel this way about the Colossus, especially since its utility against Zerg units is so high. However, then I was persuaded to play Protoss for a while (my NA account was my "mess around" Protoss account), and I quickly changed my mind.

To get Colossi requires quite a bit of resource management. The unit itself is cumbersome, expensive, and cannot travel anywhere without support since, despite being 300 minerals and 200 gas on legs, it can even be taken down by Zerglings if they get a surround. They are eminently "snipe-able" with Corruptors - for instance if they are positioned on a ledge or away from other units (or are en route to the deathball), and the loss of a few of them sets a player back enormously.

So while I sympathise with your feeling, I have to say, no, I think it is a serviceable unit and absolutely essential for Protoss to deal with massed enemy biological units.

I always found that the micro needed for the units that counter colossi require as much micro as the colossus itslef aka as in not much
