I know I post a lot regarding my gaming build, so hopefully this will be one of (if not the last) regarding it.
So, before, I had planned out a gaming computer that added up to about $720 with just the raw parts. I still need the other components as well (Case, hopefully a monitor, and speakers)
There was something else, but I can't remember exactly. Anyhow, after everything was said and done, the total cost racked up to be something around $1000. So, I'm basically starting from the ground up.
PSU = Antec EarthWatts EA 500D Green 500W 80+Bronze - $70
Hard Drive = Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM 64MB Cache - $90
RAM = G.Skill Ripjaws = 8GB (2x 4GB) 240-pin - $40
Motherboard = Biostar B75MU3+ LGA 1155 - $70
GPU = Evga GeForce 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB GDDR5 - $250
CPU = Intel i5-3450 - $200
Right now I am counting on having a budget of around $600... total.
So, I need to cut down on some things. The monitor is eventually going to be a must, as the current that I have will most likely be used by other family members. I had found a good (at least I think it's good) 1080p monitor for around $130.
So, I am willing to start from the ground up again.
Preferably, I would want the i3-2120 and the same motherboard, but I can compromise. I have no real opinion on GPU manufacturer, but I'm against an AMD Processor.
So, here's to start buying and building instead of just sitting around researching.
Thanks again for your help guys :).
