This isn't really mac specific, but I run SC2 on a mac so I'll put this here.
SC2 start up time and actually battle start up time have dramatically increased since the interface update, and I wanted to see if I could enhance my performance (because it's no fun when the game takes so long to load or when I start battle's 10+ seconds late).
Can you tell from this image if I have multiple copies of SC2, and if so, would you recommend the deletion of one or more of them? Note I don't have the disk with me @ uni, so advise cautiously.

That looks fine, as it looks like that app is looking into the versions package to see the older copies of SC2 installed that are used for replay purposes.
Have you tried clearing your Battle.net cache and see if this helps?
