I've met a bunch, but its the internet, you just have to let it roll off your back and not BM them back.
"Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing."
1 Peter 3:9
It also pisses them off when they are BMing you and you keep saying things like "have a nice day"
I've gotten some advice from some friends on how to deal with the jerks of the inter-webs.
1 - Laugh at them and pettiness for having to get their "prestige" by downgrading others.
2 - Ignore and report. As depressingly laughable as they can be, use whatever report functions you can to give them bad name, so to speak.
3 - If all else fails, troll them back; spew random stuff until they go away.
ex: "It's like freaking xmas up in here, thanks for the apple juice! :D"
