There's a voltage difference between those two models. GBSR is 1.5v while GBSR2 is 1.25v.
There's a heatsink cooler difference (GBSR2 is slightly taller).

All other key RAM specs seem to be the same.

Any DDR3 motherboard will fit it, but it remains to be seen if it'll cooperate with existing RAM.

If you don't have two of the same RAM sticks, there's a good chance that they won't be compatible together.

99.9% of the time, no.
