[Beta] New Terran Unit Idea

In the new Heart of the swarm beta, the terran mech play is central on area control with the combination of siege tanks and widow mines. This make the terran army stationary and deal upfront damage, meaning that once the widow mines and tanks deliver their first shot the power of this army is greatly reduced to at least half of it original power because all the window mines have timed out. Plus because no mech units can attack air that is the greatest threat to mech.

The new mech unit for terran should:
  • increase the dps of the army
  • attack air
  • Have high damage
  • I propose the new unit: Haven
    This unit will be built from the factory but will be a flying unit. While in flying mode this unit can't attack, but will have a relativity fast move speed to get into position. The haven will have two abilities: Siege mode and Static recharge. Siege mode causes the Haven to land and Siege on the ground becoming a stationary turret with large area of range to protect the mech army. The Static recharge ability will cast a AoE spell which increases the dps of non-biological units which allow the widow mines to quickly give off an another round and tanks to fire slightly faster. Static recharge will last for 30 seconds, be usable in but siege and unsiege mode but will cost a lot of energy to prevent abuse.
