Terran has the best late game army.

- Ghosts (Snipe, Emp, and CLOAK!)
- Ravens (PDD, HSM)
- Tanks (Burst DPS)
- Battlecrusiers with yamoto (Burst DPS and Solid DPS)

Supported with a few
- Medivacs (Healing Ghosts)
- Vikings (Air Control)
- Scv/Mules (Repair)

Plus
- Planetary Fortresses that can secure further expansions
- Mules that can increase the army supply

The only problem is the viability. It is harder to be maxed out on ravens, ghosts, tanks and have all 3-3 upgrades rather than broodlord infester where upgrades are half shared too.

The other problem that I see is the fact that zerg can create another death ball nearly instantaneously and attack with it especially with good creep spread

Broodlord infestor is not that great at remaxing unless you screwed up and let zerg bank 30k gas. Even then it will take around 2 min to get another broodlordinfestor ball up assuming unlimited larvae and money.

RoachLing won't even make a dent in ghost tank raven bc.

Ultras can be yamotoed.

You should be denying creep anyways throughout the game.

You need very high korean apm to use 2 casters and yomato not to mention u need to keep macro up at all times.

They may theoretically be able to build the best late game army, but you're forgetting that in order to do that they need transitions. As far as I know there isn't anyone that has designed a way to get to that makeup without dying along the way.

Its like in ZvP how the pros had to figure out how to get to Infestor/Broodlord safely and the solution was the spine wall.

Actually this is quite sad.

With no fast offensive units, Zerg can just mass nothing BUT infestors

an infestor for every ghost, 3 for every BC, 3 for every 2 tanks

So many infestors that you cant dps enough of the eggs before you die, when you unsiege fungal kills everything, and when you chase with BC ITs and lings base race...

This is actually a TERRIBLE composition vs mass infestors lol

That's another 24 supply the Zerg can use for Infestors that you can't use for Tanks. :/

This works in the late-game but not in the end-game.

It's actually not, except that you want either Ghosts or Tanks, not both. For Tanks to be good against Infestors, you have to focus fire them, which takes APM and time since you have to make sure your Tanks are doing it for most of the battle and not wasting shots on things like Zerglings and Infested Terran eggs. This means that you don't have time to Snipe or EMP the Infestors.

The thing about Infested Terrans is that it takes a lot of clicks, and you can only click around 10 times per second, which translates to game time as around 7 clicks per second, in which time you are not doing anything else, and the Terran will be able to kill your Infestors fairly quickly using focusfiring with his spread out Siege Tanks or Sniping/EMPing with his Ghosts.

In the meantime, one or two HSM's on the Infested Terrans does terrible, terrible damage if you're clumping them; HSM does damage in 3 stages; 100 right around the detonation, 50 a bit further, and 25 farther off. Infested Terrans have 50 HP so many will be 1-shot by the HSM.

Plus, BC's have 3 armor by default, 6 when upgraded; Infested Terrans do 5 damage assuming even upgrades on the BC armor and Infested Terran attack, and 2 if the Zerg never got Range upgrades.

So, actually Terran end game is fine if they can get the necessary upgrades and unit composition, but they are weaker in the late game when they don't have access to as much Gas.

Sure let me just make a bunch of
Ghosts, Tanks, Ravens, BC's

and get 3/3 ground upgrades
3/3 mech upgrades
3/3 air upgrades

Oh here let me max out on the heaviest gas units I can possibly produce.

Isn't apm the whole base structure of terran :) That is why we can que up units thankfully. Mules still need to be cast but hey mules are very good. It is worth the apm to cast them.

Well there was 1 game where MVP had maxed 3-3 battlecrusiers and 3-3 ghosts. He could of won but he got too carried away with the battlecrusiers. This late game army is impossiable to make but hey ironically Terran has better potent then the rest of the races.

A ghost can 1v1 an infestor. If the opponent goes mass infestors just get lots of ghosts. Use cloak and split them. Plus with only infestors it is hard to survive a mass raven auto turret assault. To prevent base races use planetarys and sensor towers. This army is immpossiable to make in an actual game but I was just amazed at how much potent terrans have.
