Nice, maybe why they had that PTR bug earlier.

Congratulations to Blizzard for finally starting to behave like a professional software development company and actually posting timelines for announced products - they have even given 4.5 months notice, which might be a Blizzard record.

Of course, the information was released indirectly from the sales section of the website. It's not as if the Development Team provided this information to faithful fans in a respectful way. Instead it was extracted from the data lines of a purchase option; that's a bit like discovering when a new Star Wars movie is coming out by looking at the bar-code of the movie poster. It's hardly Blizzard being upfront.

They have not even updated the Heart of the Swarm page with this information:
http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/game/heart-of-the-swarm-preview/faq#q9

Typical lack of professionalism and respect.

They announced its release date officially on the Korean Battle.net site.

Expect a similar announcement on the North American and European ones later today.

With the fiasco that just happened last night... I wouldn't be trusting them with anything at this point in time. Their PTR is liable to "reset" all prepurchase history, so they won't know who prepurchased, but I assure you they would keep all the money lol.

We have to be bilingual to keep up with Blizzard's glacial pace? Not surprising the Koreans get the info first. They're Blizzard's big revenue stream.

I'll be waiting. I still think it's amusing that we find out first from the sales website rather than from the Development Team. Great work guys! I'll look for breaking news from the sales page when you finally start thinking about releasing Legacy of the Void in 2015.

What a completely useless bunch of [edited].

It's also the evening over there in Korea. They get the news first because they're literally a day ahead of us ALL THE TIME.

In addition to also being the biggest Starcraft market in the world.

Use your brain for a moment. We found out through the sales site because we uncovered an automated update that went into effect when all of the Blizzard PR team was still asleep and hadn't reported in for work yet.

The moment they do they'll put up the announcement and we'll get it at the same time and date the Koreans did, and even if we don't who really cares? SC2 was first announced in Korea, I didn't see people whining about that. The world isn't centered around North America.
