Those infestor nerfs won't help fix TvZ at all. Since the only Psionic Unit that Terrans have is the Ghost. Not even Ravens are counted as Psionic. Also Sentries are Psionic, but non-snipeable which is entirely BS after that patch that basically killed Snipe unless used on Psionic Units...

Also, like someone mentioned above, the problem with Infestor is that their spells are too cost-efficient, and very low energy costs to cast. Infested Terrans cost only 25 energy compared to the actual 50 minerals used to build a Marine. Also, the damage output of 1 Infested Terran is equal to the damage output of a Battlecruiser.
So, tell me how that can be fair. That's why BCs and late-game mass Sky Terran TvZ isn't viable, since Infested Terrans do so much damage for free that they're are basically each a 30-sec health BC spawned from Infestors...

Seriously Blizz, this needs to be fixed.

Raise Infested Terran energy cost to 50 and fungal to 100, that will fix the infestor.

As for fungal, just put diminishing return on it. Give it WoW Stun treatment.

No, that !@#$ needs to stay the %^-* out of SC2.

Fungal as a projectile not helping TvZ? Are you kidding? It means you can use stim micro to mitigate fungal roots. This is a very significant buff.

Also, the damage output of 1 Infested Terran is equal to the damage output of a Battlecruiser.

This is just plain not true...

BC = 8/.225 = 35.5 dps

IT = 8/.8608 = 9.29 dps

According to Rock:
WOL balance map will see:
Mothership is now immune to infestor neural parasite - confirmed
Any psionic units(high Templar, ghost, queen, infestor) will be immune to neural parasite
Other changes possible

That's probably the worst thing they could have done honestly. Now there's absolutely nothing worth using NP on except maybe colossi and thors. Great. Thanks Blizz. Why not just remove NP from the game and be done with it?

I don't agree with the projectile. Its going to make newer players almost always miss and pro players still hit alot.

It's actually one of the best changes they could possibly do.

Casting and hitting fungals is much too easy and should take a bit more skill to make it so effective.

Fungal is hands down almost impossible to mess up in it's current state because of it's long range and instant cast. Making it projectile like EMP will make it much harder to use even for master's players - which is a good thing imo.

So a couple things about this.

Neural parasite ALWAYS gets re-tuned anytime they take the time to rebalance the infestor, it is the equivalent of the bunker nerfing for the zerg. No matter what, neural parasite will get a hit in some form or fashion.

Fungal growth becoming a projectile is a extremely significant nerf so anyone complaining about how they aren't nerfing Fungal growth simply hasn't seen what it looks like yet, so let me go ahead and show you what you can expect to see:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eoysr9JKuaE

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lSeH0U8H4M

This is the fungal growth projectile you can expect to see returned on the infestor, this is from the last most recent test they did while balancing fungal growth on the infestor. It made dodging Fungal growth extremely easy to do the last time they tried this and that is why it never went in. Many units in Starcraft 2 move extremely fast which makes dodging projectiles extremely simple to do.

They were going to increase the speed of the projectile but found that it got to the point at which it became instant cast anyway, which defeats the purpose of making it a projectile. So the nerf never went through.

The result of this test was the community in a uproar at how ridiculous this nerf was to the infestor's fungal growth and History will once again repeat itself where the community is in a uproar at how ridiculous the Fungal Growth projectile nerf is and it will end up never going through.

Then months later, people will totally forget about this entire ordeal and complain about Fungal Growth. They will demand blizzard make fungal growth a projectile, and we repeat this cycle yet again...

He is talking about the NP nerf on casts when in tvz T don't even use casters until 30+ min into the game

I just hope that a speed nerf will still retain enough of a buff on creep to have the defensive edge.

I meant damage output per unit, not DPS.
Also, who ever throws only 1 infested terran? An Infestor can throw 8 Infested Terrans. I'll repeat that, 1 infestor can throw 8 infested terrans. That's 74.08 dps or 64 attack for just energy. That's more power than 2 Battlecruisers. And that's only from 1 infestor...

Who only gets 1 infestor??? No one. Even if you get, let's be generous and say, 6 infestors (and we know that zergs get much more than 6 these days), that's 48 Infested Terrans for nothing, pure energy. Want to know the dps of 48 ITs??? That's 445.92dps.
Yep, that's even more than 10 Battlecruisers... How does that make sense???

6 Infestors can throw 48 Infested Terrans that do more damage than 10 battlecruisers... Explain how that is fair... And honestly, who only gets 6 Infestor these days.

Im sure you spent a whole lot of time to do your complicated math to make ITs look more powerful than 10 battlecruisers but in a real game things generally dont work quite like that.

Q: throw eggs, how to do?
A: This is very troublesome, it is difficult to balance. We need to consider.
That was the part that I just lost it. My Lord this google translate is awful.
