New download on new computer - cannot log in

I bought a new computer a few months ago. I just re-downloaded SC2, and have the most up-to-date version. However, the log in screen for the game simply gives me the option to type in an account name, but there is no password field and the "Connect" button is disabled. The "new user" button takes me to my Bnet account page, where it shows that my SC2 account is active. I am logged in as an admin (and was when patching), and am also connected to the Internet at all times.

Please assist. I would very much like to play again someday!

When you type in your account name, is it your full Email address?

I have the same issue. I've ensured the permissions are correct for the SC II folder. I've made sure I can log in to my battle net account via the web site with the email address I am using. Nothing. I cant get the connect button to enable.

My issue is the similar, I re-installed my operating system and downloaded the game fresh.
