Hey everyone,
So I apologize that I've been away for quite a while - I meant to get back to this forum much earlier, but, due to a lot of things going on at work I got a bit caught up. Anyway, the next topic that we're going to have going is going to be called The Zoo. Using your creativity and awesome terraining skills, make a Zoo! Maybe it's a zoo that holds terran civilians that zergs or protoss would visit, maybe it's a zoo that holds critters in it. Either way, make it awesome! |

Sweet! I'm working on a map for this right now. I'll be pacing myself, so it should be done by Saturday (Busy with 4 birthdays this week, mine included!). I might even add some features I saw in the NY Central Park zoo I saw on my recent vacation there.

I'm putting my best effort into this, so it's a good thing this is a bi-weekly excercise; as I probably wont be done until late next week. However, I thought I'd post some images of my progress.

ok here is my map, the xel'naga zoo: http://imgur.com/a/2vfK8
with it, i wanted to create a zoo that had every species. so i thought the best way to do that was with the xel'naga. i think its better if its a melee map, as then it has a practical use. since i was making a melee map it needed to be mirrored on both sides. but i tried to make both sides look as different as possible. also, i cant publish it yet because the beta editor won't let me log in to battle.net. EDIT: nvm on that last part. i fixed it, and my map and it is available for play to anyone who has the beta. |
