Characters:
Joseph Roslin aka Blade ^Jester^ ^ShadowFury^ He was the first on and claimed a spot for the other two to arrive. He was the youngest and least experience of the team, but he also proved the most useful for picking off enemies silently. After this mission he was paired with his AI Shadowfax. When the new augmentation program came out he refused to be a part of it. He was worried such a thing might cause him to lose his combat effectiveness and make him start to give his opponents mercy. Due to this he is still distant from everyone else and can be. He is always watching and waiting for his prey. When he was pulled out from his scheduled missions to train some new Gladiators he was disgusted. He and Shadowfax both believed it to be a waste of their talents. He is willing to help out, but is better avoided. Recruits: ^TheLostMorph^

I shift uncomfortably and constantly in my seat, fidgeting to keep my mind off of what I'd been thinking about. What a damned near perfect plan. If I can't do it, I'll tell, if I can do it, well, there won't be any reason to tell. It may sound odd, being cheery about killing yourself, but in my case, it was almost welcome. The...other side of me, the one that was smarter and such, it shut right up. It didn't want to push me further.
At this point, I'm itching to get back, just to get it the hell over with, just to end it all. I mean, Christ, 5 years was enough in this hell of a life. Nobody to ever talk to about anything, just train, train, train. Become a human !@#$%^- killing machine. Who the hell had the right? I mean, really, if it was legal to practically kidnap someone...which isn't exactly what happened to me, what the hell else did they get away with? Jesus...what a messed up world. |

John saw the others from his seat, for he was never put on a stretcher... Just helped get around by being carried... John guesses? "A plasma shot on the side of your leg? Doesn't sound as bad as one going completely through your leg, thus leaving a decent sized hole."
Zarkun now you know how I feel in Hell's Bells. Except that happened in a night.
Only thing that pertains to you zarkun is that jester suggested using UAV's and kit arrived where the captains are.
"As well as Shadowfax reporting something small to you, but that is not much."
Suddenly, the mental debate stops, and I feel rather comfortable again. Hearing John, and still pissed off at seemingly nothing, I respond.
"Helluva lot better than one through your gut and shoulder." |

"I know it is rather minor compared to the wounds of others, but it still hurts." Julie responds to the two of them, her Mako sitting on the seat next to her.
"Here, every post that was relevant to you."
My eyes slowly flutter open, I feel warm fluid across my torso and my left shoulder. Immense pain was coming from my sternum, the kick had cracked the bone. I was within a shuttle going back to the UESC Firebird. I move my hand to my stomach, an action sending pain arcing throughout my arm. I feel the wound inflicted upon my stomach, there are burnt flesh surrounding the cut, which from what I felt was not extremely deep, but had cut through most of the muscle. The pain was overwhelming, and within seconds I was back into the blackness of sleep.

Right...one thing at a time.
IC: "Kit, report there. You're useless if you get hurt worse, and we all know you hate feeling useless. As for Rhys, just keep us posted. I couldn't get over to assist fast enough thanks to the damn Captain. And UAVs....we don't even know the extent, so we'll have to send a live team first." |
I take a seat. "I don't like doctors and I'm missing Hos so not yet. UAV's would be better for initial recon than a live team but it is your decision." I lean against the back of the chair and close my eyes. I stretch out my mind searching for Hos which had been knocked out of my hand when I was hit with that cannon. I find it laying on the ground near where I had been shot. It was obvious to me a few gladiators tried to pick Hos up but failed. I sigh and pull it to me slowly.
I reply but don't open my eyes. "You can't pick it up trust me. *Sigh* Fine I'll go back to the ship and rest but I'm not going to the med bay." I was having trouble concentrating through the pain but slowly Hos lifted off the ground and began to float towards me and the two captains.

I find my way to a surgeon, who stitches up my gut and shoulder.
"!@#$%^-." The surgeon says simply, "You just about destroyed your collarbone. That'll take a few weeks at least." I grumble at this, not in the mood to talk. OOC: Again, the captains are going to go around and talk to the recruits, then a timeskip, right? |
