StarCraft® II

Awards XP Value as Minerals

I'm attempting to create a trigger that awards the killing player of a unit minerals equal to the experience value of the triggering unit.

I created a trigger that runs every time a unit dies.
The action states that the killing player adds minerals equal to...

I cannot find a function to return the xp worth of the unit. I cannot use the function that returns the unit level, due to the fact that all units are level 0 unless otherwise specified.

Any ideas?

The function you're looking for is Catalog Field Value Get as Integer. The Catalog is "Units," Entry is the Unity Type of (Triggering Unit), and Field Path is KillXP.

Isn't there a field in the Data Editor for this? Simply go to the Combat tab (where you set the experience values in the first place), and there is a section where you can set how many resources the unit awards as bounty (when it gets killed by an enemy). It's also much, much less stressful on a computer to do that as opposed to a trigger that runs on every unit death.
